Amanda Batula and Paige DeSorbo have rallied around Lindsay Hubbard at the racecar-themed party to give her advice on Carl Radke. “There are like, little miniature, like, you know, flags. But they’re not like, red enough for me to be, like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to get married,” Lindsay tells them.

She admits that it’s “naive” of her to think she and Carl are just figuring out their relationship but says, “We’re both always just so willing to like, work on it, which is half the battle.” Paige doesn’t look convinced.

“I get that relationships are hard work, but at some point, punch out,” she says in a confessional. “I think Lindsay deep down knows she shouldn’t marry this guy but I think she wants this like, fairytale.”

At the other end of the lawn, Craig Conover advises Carl not to let things get to the point of resentment. “It sounds like you’re doing a lot of, like, concessions or whatever.”

Lindsay and Paige go-kart over to the guys. She does a slick donut in front of them and Carl gives her a high-five. Despite their troubles, he can’t deny that it was a sick move.

Kyle Cooke goes all Evil Knievel and lives to tell the story

Kyle Cooke has a great idea to ride a tricycle into the pool. Craig tells him not to hit his head on the handlebars and then goes off with West Wilson to make a ramp for Kyle. Apparently, after a few Loverboys, no one has good judgment. They go find some tires and wood.

They set up some plywood over a couple of tires and Amanda puts a helmet on her husband because she needs him to make that Loverboy money.

Kyle gives Amanda one last kiss. “We’re going full send,” he says. Carl and West give him a running start and Kyle catches some good air before he plunges into the pool.

Thankfully, Kyle makes it and there are no broken bones. Amanda tells him to go change because she could “see his little penis head.” He tells her, “I’m cold. It’s not his full self.”

Meanwhile, Paige and Craig are Saran-wrapping everyone’s bedroom doors so that they drunkenly walk into a sheet of plastic. They say that those who prank together, stay together.

They call up Ciara Miller first she she just lifts up the plastic. “You think that I would not f*cking see that, you dumbasses,” she tells them.

Kyle is the next victim and Ciara guides him to the Saran wrap, which he walks into. Craig and Paige are so proud of themselves. This must be their foreplay.

Carl Radke asks Kyle Cooke to be his flower boy

Carl and Kyle are drooling over a little mini-car and wedding talk comes up. “I’ve been wanting to talk to you about this,” Carl says. “Lindsay and I are getting married November 17th. I really wanted you to be a part of our wedding. I would love for you to be a flower boy.” Kyle looks displeased.

“Let me ask you,” Kyle says. “So, you have groomsmen, but I’m not a groomsman?” Carl tells him, “Your role is going to be the flower boy.” Kyle is waiting for the “Gotcha!” moment but he doesn’t get one.

“Deciding on groomsmen has been a little bit of a process. I mean, I have a lot of friends,” Carl tells the cameras. Then he reveals that Lindsay didn’t want Kyle to be a groomsman. Flashback to Kyle going off on Lindsay last summer when he called her a “psycho.”

“Last year with Kyle and I wasn’t great but I want Kyle there but I also have to play ball with my wife, or my future wife,” Carl says.

Kyle wants to be a groomsman but Carl is like, nope, flower boy.

After the party, all the extras guests leave and Paige is zipping through this house with her go-cart, Jesse Solomon is FaceTime sexting with a girl, while Ciara and West are making out.

The next morning everyone is in good spirits because no one fought the night before, especially Lindsay and Carl. “I’ve known-known her for six years and she was like super chill this weekend,” Paige tells Craig.

“Good Lindsay is great,” he answers. “When she’s chill, she’s so chill,” Paige responds. She tells Craig that she saw Lindsay and Carl differently this weekend and actually feels bad for them. “I was like, wow, your situation is so f*cked and you can’t even see it because Lindsay was like, ‘Oh, is it that intense what me and Carl are going through?”

Craig says the obvious, which is that Lindsay and Carl have a lot of stuff to work out.

Kyle tells Amanda that Carl asked him to be the flower boy. She’s like, did you hear wrong? Unfortunately, he did not.

Nurse Ciara checks on West’s battered nose and Paige has a morbid curiosity to look. “Oh wow, that’s so f*cking gross,” she says. Then, as West looks concerned, Paige tells him, “Walk it off.” She’s totally ready to have children.

The Summer House cast do stuff in the city

Back in NYC, Amanda and Kyle look at potential houses in the suburbs. Amanda is getting a real estate boner over enclosed fences and newly installed LED lighting while Kyle is freaking out inside at the thought of being a suburban dad.

Amanda’s talking swing sets and a possible property expansion and Kyle says, “I just never saw myself living in New Jersey.”

Ciara and West meet up in the city. She gives him a taste of her banana bread, which shows she’s full-on ready to be domestic for him. Jesse Solomon stops by and West feeds him some banana bread. Next comes Danielle, so clearly, Ciara and West aren’t on a date.

Ciara tells them she’s signed with a modeling agency and Danielle reveals she hooked up with a drummer from Los Angeles, so it’s a good week for the ladies.

Carl, his groomsmen, and flower boys Kyle and Andrea Denver get fitted for their suits. Kyle confides to Andrea that he’s not digging his role in Carl’s wedding.

“I’ve known Carl for like a decade. I mean, the guy officiated my wedding, he was my co-best man. In my mind, I’m just like, bro, you’ve been like, one of my best friends, you know, for a hot minute,” Kyle tells Andrea. “I’ve been by his side through thick and thin. I’m just embracing the new normal where I’m like, not as an important piece of his life, and I mean, I thought we were like, yeah, it’s fine,” he says, even though it’s clearly not fine.

Italian Night at the Hamptons

Because Paige makes the big bucks as an influencer and can afford $9,000/month apartments, she has Italian Night at the house catered with a bartender and everything. No more Costco lasagna for them!

Carl tells the group that the fitting went well and Jesse Solomon asks if Kyle is a groomsman. Carl tries to evade the question by telling him that Kyle is in the wedding party. Jesse is smarter than he looks and clarifies, “So he’s not a groomsman?” Carl says, “His role is to be a flower boy.” Cue Paige’s surprised smirk.

“I know that it looks like I’m sitting here listening to this conversation. I’m bursting inside,” she says in a confessional. “Carl officiated their wedding and they’re making him a flower boy? I wonder who made that decision. ‘He will throw petals as I walk down the aisle.’ That’s what she thought. That’s insane. I wouldn’t even go. I would’ve slapped Carl in his face if he said that to me and been like, ‘Have fun at your wedding. See ya.'”

Carl tells the group, “Kyle is more of a flower boy right? I think it fits his personality.” No one validates his sentiment because there’s just too much wrong with everything.

In the house, the girls gossip. Amanda tells them that she’s mad at Kyle because he went out the night before and came home at 4 am.

Paige says, “Kyle’s whole thing is like, you know, ‘I do so many like, adult things and Amanda doesn’t do this, and Amanda doesn’t do that.’ Well, you know what Amanda doesn’t do? Stay out ’til 4 am on a weeknight.”

Everyone is dressed in their finest whites for dinner. Paige makes a toast and they say the only Italian words they know, which are, “Allora” and “Amore.”

Danielle asks Amanda about the house search and Craig and Jesse Solomon are joking around. Kyle goes, “Yo, idiots.” Amanda turns to him and says, “Kyle, you don’t have to be such an asshole.”

“Well, I’m trying to like, help facilitate this conversation. Thank you very much,” he mutters.

Amanda tells the group that the house is an investment property for her to go to when she wants to get out of the city. Away from Kyle. She plans on staying there for a week or two, or a month at a time.

“A month at a time!” Paige says. “Kyle, he ain’t coming with her,” Ciara notes. Kyle doesn’t look happy about this convo at all. Mommy and Daddy just made dinner awkward again.
