Margaret Josephs is going through a hard time because her ex-husband Jan Josephs died suddenly from a heart attack and she feels like she’s not getting enough support from her “RHONJ” friends, particularly Jen Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider.
Jackie just came out with a book and gave it to everyone except for Margaret, so Margaret’s feeling salty about it. “She sent it to Melissa and I love Melissa but Melissa doesn’t read books,” Margaret tells her husband Joe Benigno. To be fair, everyone in the group probably doesn’t read much apart from Page Six.
Jen and Rachel Fuda meet up for coffee. It’s not a nicey-nice meet-up per usual. Rachel is hurt because Jen is friendly with Teresa Giudice, who has accused her husband of being a drug dealer.
“There’s a level of disappointment for me and John that you’re justifying what she says,” Rachel tells Jen.
“I did the best that I could. I can’t go into situations like Margaret does and draw blood,” Jen responds. “I’m much better at talking and like, thinking, and like, hearing people.”
Rachel understands but tells Jen that she needs to remove herself from the drama. She doesn’t want to be around Teresa, which is further going to divide the already fractured group. This season is already turning out to be a bummer. We’re ready for fun cast trips and group kekes.
Jennifer Aydin is a sniper from the side
Jennifer Aydin is throwing a doggy birthday party for Biscuit because pups deserve to celebrate another yapping year around the sun. Everyone comes with their dogs and they have a doggy fashion show. Of course, Biscuit wins. Yay.
Jennifer has shadily invited a woman named Lina to the party who reveals that she’s a hairstylist and has some tea on Danielle Cabral.
Lina says Danielle asked her to do her hair for a charity event. When she came to the event to support the charity, she was asked by a waitstaff to leave because she didn’t have a pink bracelet. Lina watched the waitress talk to Danielle, who obviously wanted her gone, as the waitress came back insisting she had to leave.
“There have been things that have been brewing with Danielle that people in this group may not be privy to. I’m allowing Lina to tell the story because I would rather it not come from me,” Jennifer says in a confessional.
“Lina is in our group of friends. She also does Teresa’s hair on occasion. I am very offended at the way Danielle dealt with that situation,” Jennifer continues.
At the dog party, Jennifer tells the group that she called Danielle the next day and accused her of throwing Lina out of the charity event. “She was like, ‘I want no part of it!'” Jennifer says, imitating Danielle’s New Jersey accent.
Gia Giudice is hanging out with a bunch of RHONJ ladies
Teresa has brought her dorter Gia Giudice to the dog party because she needs more allies on “RHONJ” and is trying to get her a paycheck. Jennifer says she invited Margaret to the party because she didn’t want her to feel left out and Teresa tries to be funny. “What dog was Joe Benigno going to bring, Margaret or his real dog?” she says. There are crickets.
Jen tells the group that Rachel didn’t want to come to Jennifer’s party because of Teresa. “Sometimes I fell like Margaret and Rachel like are a little, like, territorial. It doesn’t need to be like that,” Jackie says. “It doesn’t need to be like that,” Gia tells her.
Jackie says she’s glad things are good between her and Teresa and it’s all love, love, love. Teresa honks, “Awww.”
“I must be in the f*cking Twilight Zone right now,” Dolores Catania tells the cameras. “Up until recently, Jackie wanted Teresa dead. And now they’re going to make out any second. It’s a big f*cking clusterf*ck.”
Dolores is having her annual baseball charity event and hopes that John Fuda and Luis Ruelas can get along for that day.
Gia says that her stepfather is an awesome dude who just lets people get under his skin so he says not nice things. It’s always someone else’s fault. Jen says that the fighting within the “RHONJ” cast goes back to Teresa’s contentious relationship with her brother Joe Gorga. Gia immediately shuts the convo down.
Jennifer sees her happy dog party slip into the drama zone and offers everyone cake. Hopefully, it’s the one for humans and not the puppies.
Jackie Goldschneider vs. Margaret Josephs
Everyone has come together for Dolores’ charity baseball event. It’s too much to hope that everyone would put aside their differences and Danielle asks Jackie in the locker room, “Who invited you to [Jennifer Aydin’s] puppy party?” Jackie answers, “I’m friends with Jen.” Danielle says, “Oh, are you?”
Jackie responds, “The only one I’m not friends with is you.” Danielle is all confused because apparently Jen never told her that she was friends with Jackie now. This is so elementary school.
Jackie points out to Danielle that she didn’t invite her to the Jersey Shore. Margaret tells Jackie, “You and Danielle weren’t close, you weren’t getting along, you can’t take such personal offense.”
“You don’t take my side in anything,” Jackie tells Margaret. “Jackie, my whole life I’ve taken your side,” Margaret replies, which is a gross exaggeration given that she literally knew Jackie for like five years.
Apparently, Margaret is salty that Jackie didn’t check on her during the anniversary of her ex-husband’s death. Jackie asks if she posted about it on social media, which is not an excuse as to why she didn’t know.
Margaret is also mad that Jackie didn’t give her a copy of her memoir but gave it to other “RHONJ” cast members. Not even full-time cast — Jen Fessler got a copy.
The two go at it in the locker room and Jackie tells the cameras that she thinks Margaret treats her like a minion and she’s sick of it.
The RHONJ cast hit some balls
Awkward time. Teresa is in the locker room when Melissa and Joe walk in. Melissa tells her son Joey to give Teresa a kiss hello, which he does. Teresa gives her nephew a lackluster kiss and can’t even look him in the eye.
On the baseball field, Margaret sees Jackie talking about their fight to the other housewives. She goes to Jen and tells her, “That’s who you want to associate yourself with?”
Jen is all, WTF. “Honey, if people are nice to me, I’m nice to them back, okay? I don’t have that mechanism in me to look for trouble.” Basically, Margaret wants Jen to prevent Jackie from sitting at the popular table because she feels slighted.
In other news, Joe goes up to Bill Aydin and gives him a hug, which Jennifer doesn’t like. “It gives the narrative that you don’t support me,” she tells her husband. “At this point, it’s a respect thing.”
Then, Melissa goes over to them and says she gets that Jennifer is loyal to Tre but she wants to have a conversation just them two. It feels like a ploy to sway Jennifer away from Teresa but she falls for it and says she’s willing to meet Melissa to talk.
In the end, the charity event raised over $200,000 so it was a win-win.
