Teresa Giudice is cleaning up her backyard after the explosive fight between Danielle Cabral and Jennifer Aydin the night before. “This looks like a tornado was back here or something,” she exclaims while taking in the mess.
Her dorter Gia Giudice is about to leave for Michigan and can’t help Teresa clean up but she has time to recount the events of last night.
“I’m upset about it. I have to do everything I can to like, help them make up,” Teresa says. Gia points out that it’s different when women get physical, as opposed to guys. “With girls, when you put your hands on each other, I feel like after that, you’re pretty much like, done.”
For someone who only has an hour and a half to make her flight, Gia is pretty unbothered about rushing to Newark Airport.
Danielle Cabral thinks Jennifer Aydin has it out for her
After her fight with Jennifer, Danielle wants to focus on relaunching her kids clothing brand, Boujie Kidz. She’s throwing a big bougie party with no expenses spared. Trust that it’s going to be over the top.
Everyone’s invited except, of course, Jennifer. “She’s made fun of me, talked about my character. I let it slide a lot. Then she threw some sh*t in about me dogging Marissa,” Danielle tells her husband Nate Cabral.
In a confessional, she says, “So you’re going to bash me as a person and then put your hands on me? She didn’t push me[and] say, ‘Get out of my face, Danielle.’ Back from where I’m from, we say she yoked me to a point where it made every hair on the back of my neck stand up and I was in complete self-defense mode.”
Nate wonders what Jennifer has against Danielle and she says it started when the hairstylist Lina got mentioned at Melissa Gorga’s housewarming party. Jennifer didn’t like that Lina got kicked out of the VIP area of Danielle’s charity event and now apparently has a vendetta against her.
Danielle also wonders if it’s because Jennifer told her that a woman named Laura told Margaret that Melissa was making out with another guy who’s not Joe Gorga. She wanted nothing to do with the rumors and put a stop to Jennifer bringing Laura to her charity event.
“I guess Jen got mad because she thought I was picking a side?” Danielle tells the cameras. “So maybe by me not playing dirty, Jen realized she had no use for me anymore so she started tearing apart my character.”
It’s a nice day for a gay wedding
Melissa’s cousin Nick is getting married and Joe is officiating the ceremony. If the saying is true that rain on your wedding day is good luck, Nick and his hubby-to-be Mike are very lucky because it’s raining cats and dogs.
Still, nothing can dampen their spirits even though the humidity is at 100%. “The reason we asked you to marry us is because like, you breathe love,” Mike tells Joe. Nick agrees, “You are able to light up a room with the love that you give this family and that’s why we love you so much.”
“Love, love, love!” is the word of the day. Oh wait, that’s Teresa’s saying.
Sadly, Melissa reveals that Mike’s family didn’t come to the wedding because they didn’t support him being gay. “So, it’s just a great example for my children to see that love is love.”
Joe gives a heartfelt speech about Nick coming out to him and how he got close to Mike because his family rejected his sexuality. It makes him think about his relationship with Teresa. “I say wow, she won’t be at my kids’ weddings,” he says in a confessional. “My nieces will be getting married and I’m not going to be there.”
“And here I am with my family that really is not my blood but they have accepted me from the moment I met them and that’s how this family is. We cheer each other on and we love each other and I’m part of that. I’m very proud,” Joe tells the cameras.
Teresa Giudice is not ready to unfriend Danielle Cabral
Jennifer has Teresa and Jen Fessler over and they get right into what happened at Teresa’s house. “I was f*cking in shock,” Jennifer tells them.
Teresa didn’t see what happened and asks Jennifer how hard she pushed Danielle. Jennifer says, “She was in my face” and demonstrates how close Danielle was to her. She then gently pushes Teresa down, which is not how she shoved Danielle.
“My reaction was a reflex to defend myself,” Jennifer says. Teresa asks if she accused Danielle of stealing money from her charity, which she denies.
“I remember at the charity event, she was alluding to paying back all of her expenses and she’s like, ‘Of course, for my time.’ I’m like, does she just say she’s making money on herself?” Jennifer explains.
She then accuses Danielle of trying to sabotage her hair extension person by telling her that she’s not going to get paid for being a model. “She was like, ‘Well you should be getting paid.’ I’m like, ‘Doesn’t she do your hair extensions for free?’ She goes, ‘Yeah and I post for her,’ as if that’s enough.”
Basically, Jennifer is accusing Danielle of being shady toward service people and offers them social media posts in exchange for their work.
Jen asks if there’s more to their beef and Jennifer admits it started when Danielle objected to her inviting Laura to her charity event.
Teresa says that she feels stuck in the middle and is still going to Danielle’s Boujie Kidz event. Jennifer is disappointed that Teresa doesn’t have her back completely but says it’s fine when obviously it’s not. She’s not ready to throw Teresa under the bus so she pretends everything is hunky dory.
Margaret Josephs gets bad news about Joe Benigno
Margaret Josephs’ house is finally coming together after seven years and she’s putting her husband Joe Benigno to work. After a routine checkup, Joe’s PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) level was raised so they’re waiting for the doctor to call back about the results.
Joe is very blasé about the whole thing but Margaret is on pins and needles waiting so she calls the doctor. The receptionist tells her that the doc wants Joe to get an MRI, which does not bode well for him.
Margaret asks to talk to the doctor who tells her that the labs were abnormal. “The Exo score, which should be about 20 was about 70,” the doctor says. “What this means is there’s a chance of course, that it’s prostate cancer. But, because the PSA is just slightly abnormal, that means it’s very, very early.” He suggests Joe get an MRI and a biopsy, which Margaret wants to get STAT.
She starts crying and Joe reassures her that he’ll be okay. “I see the glass is completely full,” he tells her.
Danielle Cabral is not ready to let go of the fight
Danielle’s Boujie Kidz relaunch is full of mylar balloons, glitter, neon signs, and everything else you would consider extra to the nth degree. Her estranged father has promised to come, which makes her reconsider her crystal bra.
Unfortunately, Nate tells Danielle that her dad called him and is sick. She’s disappointed but happy that at least he was planning to come. Baby boujie steps.
Rachel Fuda comes and she and Danielle are joined by Tiffany, Jen, and Kayla the party planner. They inevitably talk about the fight and Danielle says that what Jennifer said about her that night was the worst lie ever, particularly the one about her allegedly stealing from a charity.
Rachel and Kayla agree that the accusation is horrible but Jen argues, “Danielle, she didn’t sleep with your husband.”
“She shoved me aggressively,” Danielle says. “She tells a very different story than that as well,” Jen tells her. Say what?
“She said you were in her face and she was like feeling threatened,” Jen explains. She went on to say that Jennifer’s recount was that she pushed her as a result but ended up getting “clocked” by Danielle.
“But you know that you were part of what happened, right?” Jen says. “Sounds like you have her back,” Danielle responds. “I do. I’m friends with her,” Jen answers.
Dolores and Teresa arrive at the party. Teresa tells Danielle that she should talk to Jennifer at some point and says she doesn’t think her friend is a liar. Danielle argues, “She’s saying that I stole from the charity that we did.”
Margaret and Melissa walk in but Danielle is over talking about the fight. She wants to have some boujie fun.
Gia Giudice is over analogies
Jen tells Teresa and Gia that Danielle is upset because she was defending Jennifer. BTW, what is Gia even doing there? Isn’t she supposed to be in Michigan?
Gia asks Jen if John Fuda mentioned her name when trying to defend his arrest when he was supposedly 17 years old. “I swear he wasn’t badmouthing Gia,” Jen says. Apparently, Paul Connell told Dolores Catania and now it’s a game of telephone.
Jen tries to explain that John said that he was younger than Gia is now when he got arrested for selling marijuana. Gia just doesn’t want anyone to bring up her name at all. Perhaps she should stop hanging out with her mom’s friends then and go hang out at Applebees or whatever 23-year-olds do.
Everyone’s mingling and Jen makes her way over to Rachel and Melissa. They ask her what she was talking about and she says that she was explaining to Teresa that John would never bring up Gia’s name in a bad way. As soon as Rachel hears her husband’s name, she walks away in disgust thinking that they’re all talking smack about him. Jen is all, “WTF?”
Margaret advises her not to even mention John at all. “It was about Gia,” Jen insists. Rachel grabs her kid and storms out of the party.
“Jen Fessler — she should just wear a t-shirt and say, “I’m up Teresa’s ass and Jennifer Aydin’s ass on the back,” she tells Danielle. “I’m not going to argue with that one,” Danielle answers. Oh, how the alliances have shifted!
