After her meetup with Jennifer Pedantri, Gina Kirschenheiter storms off and calls Emily Simpson to vent. “I am in utter shock of how this woman just is choosing to handle this situation.”
At the cafe, Jennifer calls Shannon Beador to tell her how Gina blasted her for getting her hair and makeup done while she’s broke and homeless.
Shannon is sympathetic to Jennifer’s situation but she can also understand how Gina feels after using her pull as a real estate agent to find the mom of five a house.
Jennifer thinks Gina should be more understanding as a fellow divorcée who has lived in a casita. What she fails to see is that she was still living in a huge house and buying designer clothing while Gina’s hair looked like a mess for years.
So many red flags everywhere
Emily has organized a flag football match because the “Real Housewives of Orange County” ladies clearly need to hash out their issues on the field. Words are not working for them. Bossy Heather Dubrow is the referee of course.
The teams are chosen and they have to make their own shirts. This is turning into an all-day affair. During arts and crafts time, Jennifer tells newbie Katie Ginella and Tamra Judge about her fight with Gina.
“Rent wasn’t being paid. I don’t have the means to cover rent like that and she’s like, ‘You’re a f*cking joke,'” Jennifer says.
“She said I’m like, ruining her reputation. I didn’t move into the house thinking I’m just not going to pay my bills,” she continues. Like Shannon, Tamra also sees both sides but she tells the cameras, “Don’t move into a house that you can’t afford.”
At the other table, Shannon tells her teammates that her ex John Janssen and his new girlfriend Alexis Bellino are now working out at her gym. This is after she introduced John to her trainer Steven. Can he not find another gym in Orange County? Alexis has now stolen Shannon’s man and her gym.
As they’re getting ready to play some football, Gina asks Alexis about the gym situation. “John goes there so I train with him. I have my own trainer,” Alexis says.
“That doesn’t make you uncomfortable though?” Gina asks. Alexis replies, “She hasn’t been there for six f*cking months!”
Gina fills Shannon in on her conversation with Alexis and how she said “My trainer.” The beast is now awoken.
The “RHOC” cast and some random friends play flag football, no one knows what they’re doing, and the game ends. Time for the fun part.
Gina Kerschenheiter calls a foul
The ladies all sit down for some post-flag football snacks. Jennifer tells Gina that she could have been more understanding about the divorce, which was still ongoing at the time. She had no judgement so there was no resolution about her finances.
“You signed a contract and you have bills to pay,” Gina answers. Jennifer tries to apologize but Gina says, “This burnt me bad, Jenn. I put someone in a home that wasn’t paying their bills, Jenn.”
She goes on to say that the agent involved in the rental won’t return her phone calls. Jennifer tells her that the agent is returning her calls.
“Yes, she’s going to return your calls because she represents the woman in the house that you’re squatting in,” Gina yells.
The word “squatting” makes Heather’s eye twitch because it’s associated with poor people. “We don’t have to use that word,” she says. Miss Fancypants would never.
Jennifer explains that she met her ex-husband Will while she was very young and allowed him to take care of her. He didn’t even allow her access to their finances. “I’ve never had a credit card in my name,” she tells the cameras.
Jennifer Pedranti is in a pickle
The situation gets even worse. Jennifer tells the ladies that she got rid of her car because she couldn’t make the payments and her boyfriend Ryan Boyajian absorbed the $24,000 fee.
He offered to give her his old car and get a new one for himself, with the plan of rolling the $24,000 into his new car payments.
“You need to make changes so you’re in the driver’s seat,” Gina tells Jennifer. Emily asks, “What happens when Ryan gets mad that he absorbed that $24,000 debt?”
“If something were to happen with Ryan, I literally am homeless and I do not have a car,” Jennifer replies. Gina finally softens up a bit and tells her that she gets it but then got “burnt” by Jennifer’s eviction. She shares that her boyfriend Travis is moving out because they can’t afford to buy a house together and she doesn’t want to put herself in a bad place financially.
She also reveals that she’s in a better place money-wise than Travis and when she wants to splurge on a vacation for her kids, she feels bad about not wanting to kick in extra for his kids.
Gina apologizes to Jennifer for being harsh on her and tells her that she just wants good things for her. They hug it out and Jennifer’s extensions are relieved to see another day on her head without judgement.
Gym Bellino-gate
Tamra, Jennifer, and Alexis go on a hike with their dogs. Alexis has brought Shannon’s dog Archie — oh, wait. It’s not Archie. It’s another Golden Retriever type dog that Alexis has adopted that looks exactly like Archie. Totally not “Singe White Female” vibes.
Meanwhile, Emily is doing a boudoir shoot for Shane and has invited Shannon to come along. During a break, Shannon tells her that she told the co-owner of her gym, Alex, that Alexis is going around saying that’s her gym after training with the trainer twice.
According to Shannon, Alex called out Alexis for claiming she’s a “Christian girl” but talked about her sex life with John. After that, John supposedly cursed at Alex and told him they were never going back to the gym. Then, he proceeded to blame it all on Shannon.
“Is Alexis trying to live the life that I had? She’s with my ex-boyfriend, she’s getting love-bombed like I did, they’re going to the same restaurants, they’re riding on the boat, they go to the same gym. He took her to the same hotel for her birthday that he took me for mine,” Shannon says in a confessional. “Alexis, good luck trying to be me.”
Gina Kerschenheiter says bye to Travis
Gina’s boyfriend Travis is moving out and she has mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, she thinks it’s best for them and on the other, she’s going to miss him. Pick a lane, Gina.
“It’s about me and needing space from Travis’ past,” she says in a confessional. “His ex makes things incredibly difficult for him and for me and he feels responsible for it.”
“I’m choosing myself and my three kids over our family as a whole. There’s like, tremendous guilt about it.”
While Travis is packing, Gina tells him that she doesn’t want him to resent her for her decision. He tells her that she’s lucky he’s not a grudge-holder. This relationship looks doomed.
