In case you didn’t know, Heather and Terry Dubrow are very rich and they reminded us of it in this episode. While looking out from their Los Angeles apartment, Heather asks if he knows where the house they’re building is nestled amongst the hills of the elite in the distance.
He points it out and Heather asks, “Is that Drake’s house?” We get it. You’re so rich, Drake is your neighbor. She calls their two-bedroom apartment “literally the world’s most expensive closet.”
In a more somber moment, Heather reflects on the time Terry had a stroke and could have died. She’s glad he’s here and also, they’re rich.
Katie Ginella is pushing paparazzi-gate
It’s girls’ night out but only with Tamra Judge, Emily Simpson, Gina Kerschenheiter, Jennifer Pedranti, and Katie Ginella. “I just want a good core of girls to go to a dive bar,” Tamra says. Meaning, she still has beef with Shannon Beador and Heather is too much of a fancypants to go to a dive bar.
They’re all drinking in the car and have to use the bathroom when they get to Gina’s house. Emily doesn’t want to go inside so she pees in a bush. Ew.
Emily gets messier when they’re all seated at the bar and she says Katie has dirt on Heather’s paparazzi situation. In 2022, Heather and Terry were caught at Disneyland looking like the perfect couple and everyone thought it was staged.
Flashback to Katie telling Gina and Emily that she asked her friend who heads the paparazzi and he told her that Heather and totally called them.
In a confessional, Tamra says, “Last year, she was dead-set on, it’s a lie. She yelled at me, she yelled at Emily.”
At the bar, Katie tells everyone that she has a screenshot of her conversation with the paparazzi friend. Tamra is gleeful but Gina knows things are about to get really messy.
Katie then reveals that Heather tagged her on Instagram in a birthday photo and thinks she did it on purpose. According to Heather, it was mistakenly done by her social media person trying to tag Givenchy.
Enough gossip. Tamra, Jennifer, and Emily start dancing on the bar and spraying each other with the soda hose. It’s an episode of “Cougars Gone Wild.”
Vicki Gunvalson is back on RHOC
Poor Vicki Gunvalson has been reduced to a friend-of after getting fired. Even though she told ET in 2019 that she’d never come back in a “reduced role.”
Alas, the OG of the OC needs camera time so here we are. She’s at Shannon’s house and has a staph infection. Perhaps Vicki needs to be in a hospital hooked up to an IV of antibiotics rather than in front of cameras.
They start talking about their Tres Amigas tour which was ruined by Tamra backing out after Shannon’s DUI.
Vicki thinks it’ll work just the two of them like Ethel and Louise. They call their tour manager Paris who tells them there is some fallout from Tamra quitting. However, he encourages them to keep promoting the show.
Shannon and Vicki sing a jingle: “JuSt ThE tWo Of uS. We’Re tHe DoS aMiGas.” Neither Paris nor Shannon’s dog Archie looks impressed.
In other news, Shannon tells Vicki that her ex John Janssen is suing her for $75,000. Shannon just can’t catch a break.
Katie Ginella hosts a golf outing
Katie is set to host her very first “RHOC” event and she wants to make it about golf. Yawn. She’s at a nail salon with Shannon and Heather where she tells them, “We can call it drinking and driving.” After Shannon’s DUI, it’s not a good look so Heather suggests a different name.
At Gina’s house, Katie brings some clothes designed by her friend as an option for playing golf. Gina hates them but agrees to wear the outfit.
Gina then brings up the paparazzi situation. She warns Katie that Heather does not like being surprised and accused of things.
“I just don’t know what to do now in this situation but I just know that Heather’s going to be pissed,” Gina says.
More tea is spilled. Gina tells Katie that she’s friends with Cynthia Bailey from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” who was at a party with Heather recently.
According to Cynthia, Heather went straight to her, introduced herself, and asked how she knew Katie. “That was the only question she asked her and that’s the only thing she wanted,” Katie says.
Gina is not comfortable with all this talk behind Heather’s back and just urges Katie to talk to her.
Katie Ginella and Heather Dubrow’s fight on the green
Katie hosts her golf outing and everyone comes dressed in their finest preppy gear even though no one plays. Surprisingly Emily, whose sport is eating sandwiches in saunas, wins. She gets Prada sunglasses. Gina, who could have used designer sunglasses out of all of them, comes in second.
While mingling over hot dogs and cockies after golf, Tamra tells Heather that Katie said some “concerning” things about her. “She says that you call the paparazzi and you tell them where you’re at all the time.” Funny how Tamra was chortling when she found out but now she’s being a good friend to Heather now.
Katie finally asks Heather to talk and brings up all her grievances, such as ignoring her at Sutton’s party and trying to get info on her.
She then brings up the paparazzi pics to which Heather replies, “I have never called paparazzi in my life.” Katie asks if that means her friend is lying, which she doesn’t believe. “On the lives of my children, I have never called a paparazzi,” Heather insists. Katie offers to show proof and Heather gets even more defensive, saying that the dude could have faked it with apps.
“Heather, you think he would do that?” Katie says while rolling her eyes. At the end of the day, Heather is unbothered by the rumors and politely excuses herself from the outing. “I’m so glad all my friends are friends,” Gina cracks.
