The La Quinta/Big Bear trip continues but there’s a heavy pall over the cast members after they learn that John Janssen allegedly has a video of Shannon Beador on the night of her DUI.
On the La Quinta side, Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter still have unresolved issues that curiously come up every other season as a storyline. Hmm…
The ladies bring up Shannon’s issues with John and they say things just don’t look good for her. Shannon insists that her ex never paid for a thing and now he’s all of a sudden suing her for $75,000 for a facelift.
According to Shannon, she paid for a family vacation that cost almost $10,000. “That’s how generous I was and he’s telling me I owe him money,” she says.
Emily suggests offering him half and calling it a day but Shannon doesn’t want to. “I don’t want to give him a dollar,” she declares. Seriously, John Janssen doesn’t deserve a single cent. May he rot in the pit of despair.
The La Quinta group rallies around Shannon, which makes her choke up with tears. They assure her that things will be okay, which hopefully it will be. Justice for Shannon!
Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter hash things out over pickleball
Apparently, tennis is now for Boomers so Emily and Gina do a game of pickleball. They start squabbling mid-game about sh*t they have heard about each other.
Gina has heard from Jennifer Pedranti that Emily thinks she bows down to Heather Dubrow. Emily admits she did say something to that effect. She points out that Gina was all about newbie Katie Ginella until Heather started disliking her. Now Gina doesn’t like Katie.
“You let her manipulate you. You worry about what she thinks. You’re so far up her ass,” Emily says. Gina retaliates by saying Emily is up Tamra’s ass. They yell at each other until Gina gets mad and chucks her pickleball racquet which is grounds for a penalty.
Emily hates seeing Gina upset so she gives her a hug. They don’t want to be like Tamra Judge and Shannon. “They’re so f*cked up,” Gina cries. “They are!” Emily agrees. “We’re not like that. We’re totally normal.” Normal is a stretch but at least they’re friends again.
Alexis Bellino has dirt on Shannon Beador
In Big Bear, Alexis Bellino gets a call from John Janssen. He tells her something that causes her to dramatically cry. When a producer asks what happened, she says, “I’m not at liberty to discuss what happened that pushed John to the limit.”
She tells Katie, “We have the footage. We have the f*cking footage, okay?” Apparently, it’s so bad that it can ruin Shannon’s life. Alexis then throws herself on the bed and sobs hysterically.
Back in Orange County, Katie and Emily meet up at a candy shop with their sons. Katie tells Emily about Alexis’ conversation with John and how he said, “All gloves are off.”
“They’re going to release these videos of Shannon,” Katie shares. Emily asks what the videos are and Katie says, “There’s like Ring footage cameras of her almost running over his daughter.”
“She kept saying, ‘If we release this, she’s done. Her reputation is completely done.'” Emily is shocked and replies, “I’m afraid it’s going to push her to the point of no return.”
Tamra Judge keeps judging Shannon Beador
Tamra invites Shannon to a restaurant to talk things out. She tells her that she hoped Shannon was the one who reached out first. Shannon is like, are you kidding me? “You’ve been nothing but defaming me,” she says.
Even though Tamra promised Jennifer that she wouldn’t lead with her butthole, she begins to act like one.
Shannon says she’s trying to work on herself and Judgy McJudgerson responds with, “So you don’t drink anymore?” She says she limits herself to two drinks and admits that she drank a lot during hard times. “If I get to a point where alcohol is an issue with me, then I absolutely will look at it.”
Shannon points out that her fellow “RHOC” castmate has been drunk plenty of times. “Have I drove my car into a house?” Tamra responds.
It’s only when Shannon tearfully tells Tamra that John is suing her for $75,000 that she softens up. Tamra says she doesn’t want to make things harder on Shannon and they hug it out.
