Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 Reunion Part 1 Recap

Comments Off on Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 Reunion Part 1 Recap

“The Real Housewives of Dubai” Season 2 has ended, which means — reunion time! Caroline Stanbury, Lesa Milan, Taleen Marie, Caroline Brooks, Sara Al Madani, and Chanel Ayan are all dressed in beautiful red gowns.

Host Andy Cohen addresses Lesa and Chanel’s fight and sadly, things are still tense between them. Chanel says she misses Lesa’s two boys and the husbands don’t see each other as well. Andy hopes the two will resolve their issues before the end of the reunion.

Although their friendship took a hit, Andy highlights the blossoming one between Stanbury and Chanel. He asks what changed since last season when they couldn’t stand each other. They reveal that after the Season 1 reunion, they were stuck on a plane back to Dubai together and ended up having a drink.

“We started talking and then we just were like, ‘You know what, let’s try to see if we can actually try,'” Chanel says.

Lesa Brooks’ reunion receipts didn’t land

Lesa and Brooks didn’t handle the new friendship well and Taleen thinks her ex-friend loved seeing Lesa and Chanel fight over it. “I don’t care about it,” Brooks says nonchalantly. Lesa answers, “I had no issues with the two of them becoming friends.” However, according to her, Chanel would text her after hanging out with Stanbury and say she “felt uncomfortable.”

Chanel denies this but Lesa, like a true Real Housewife, has brought receipts. Andy reads texts from Lesa’s phone sent by Chanel: “We’re trying to find something in common but I don’t know what. Like, she acted like I grew up in a village. She grew up in a mansion. I was shocked.”

After Chanel says that the texts were from the beginning of her friendship with Stanbury, Lesa calls her a “professional victim.” This is a low blow because Chanel was open about her female genital mutilation (FGM) last season and Sara claimed she was using her experience to victimize herself.

Andy asks Chanel how her FGM story was received and she says that she’s been taunted online and fell into a deep depression after “RHODubai” Season 1. “I don’t want to be attacked because I’m trying to save young girls. That’s why, when somebody says, ‘You’re a victim,’ … when Sara said that to me, it hurt me so bad.”

Lesa defends her statement by saying it has nothing to do with FGM and Chanel alleges the reason her former friend is emotional is because she’s on Ozempic. Lesa retaliates by saying, “Yeah, Ozempic that you introduced me to.” Is a Housewife being on Ozempic really news at this point?

Caroline Brooks and Taleen Marie fight over vagina-gate

One of Brooks’ beef with Stanbury was that her then-friend Taleen’s vagina got brought up after she was stumbling drunk. Apparently, Stanbury’s husband Sergio Carrallo saw it or almost saw it, who knows.

Brooks wanted to defend her friend because it’s okay for one to be vagina-exposed drunk once in a while without being shamed by an Englishwoman.

Stanbury points out that Brooks could have called her and talked things out instead of making it a storyline allllll season long. However, Brooks claims that when she told Taleen about the vag incident, she was on the floor crying hysterically.

That’s not how Taleen remembers it and a flashback shows that she started crying but wasn’t screaming at the clouds.

Fingers start waving and Andy asks Sara, who was there, what happened. “The comment was rude, she was hurt,” she stated. Pointing to Brooks, she admits, “She dragged it too long. I love you, but I’m going to be honest.”

Brooks says that after she went hard for Taleen, she was pissed that her friend started hanging out with Stanbury. “I have never seen some sh*t like that in my life,” she yells.

Caroline Brooks is accused of being a gold-digger

Both Stanbury and Taleen hint that Brooks dates wealthy men for their money. Taleen outright says that Brooks’ boyfriends give her expensive gifts and money. And, what’s the problem?

Taleen says that Brooks was dating a guy she called “Shrek” who apparently paid for a private plane and paid her bills. Lesa says it’s not okay to say Brooks slept around with men who paid for stuff. Then, Sara accuses Lesa of saying the same thing.

Lesa plays innocent but Chanel and Taleen call her out. “The horrible things they both said about each other,” Taleen says, pointing to Lesa and Brooks. The truth comes out. Oop!

Taleen Brooks reportedly begged to be on RHODubai

Brooks and Taleen’s feud continues at the “RHODubai” Season 2 reunion. After Brooks accused Taleen of begging to be on the show, she doubled down. Taleen admits she wanted to be on “RHODubai” but didn’t “beg.” Andy says, “It’s not a crime to want to be on the show.”

He points out to Brooks that if Taleen were to be on the show, it would only benefit her because she’d have an ally. She says that if she brings a friend into the group, she expects her to be on her side. “Fair, very fair,” Andy responds.

The fight at Stanbury’s house gets brought up and Andy asks about Taleen’s husband’s role in it. “[He] was actually trying to de-escalate it,” she says.

“I was being poked,” Taleen adds. She does admit that she shouldn’t have made the jab about Brooks not having a husband to defend her at the moment. “For that, I do take accountability. I’m sorry for that.”

It turns out that Brooks is closer to Taleen’s husband Rafael Khanoyan and she claims that they never fought like that before. Taleen begs to differ and she calls Brooks a pathological liar. The two ladies start screaming at each other and the reunion continues next week.
