It’s the very first charter and the very first dinner and things are going haywire. Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher has taken individual orders, which messed up Chef Cloyce Martin’s concentration. One guest is missing an entire dinner while another’s steak was overcooked.
Most of the guests are done eating but Cloyce comes up anyway to announce what they’ve just eaten. At least they’re polite enough not to complain. They love the food, however, so Cloyce is killing it so far.
After dinner, there’s a dance instructor who teaches the group how to do a sexy walk. It involves rolling your shoulders back and then crossing your legs as you walk. It’s very natural.
Gary King takes the dancer back on the tender and it’s pitch black. Gary is Gary so he’s flirting with her and crashes the tender into a rock. “Puss, man!” he yells, which must be the South African version of “F*ck!”
Thankfully everything is okay and Gary assesses the damage. Back on the boat, he tells Captain Glenn Shephard, who tells him to make deckhand Emma Crouch keep an eye on it during her night watch.
Gary King needs his nappy time
The next day, Gary assesses the damage to the tender and tells Glenn that it’s just surface. The guests are going to a beach club for some day drinking and Daisy sends both Diana Cruz and Danni Martin with them.
At the club, Danni overhears a club employee saying he’s from South Africa and she’s all over him. She goes from serving the guests to flirting with her new conquest. “I’m in love,” she tells Diana. Girl, go earn your tip.
Meanwhile, some of the male guests didn’t bring swim trunks with them to the beach club for some reason but now they want to go in the water. The stews ask Daisy to send some over and she has to wake up Gary, who is napping. He goes while mumbling, “Frazzle, razzle.”
The guests just want to party it up so Daisy asks Gary to send a deckhand over so that her stews can come back to the boat and prepare for dinner. He just came back from delivering shorts so he says, “Nope.”
“I’ll remember that one,” Daisy tells him. Gary vents to deckhand Emma Crouch while smoking his cigarette like a binky. She advises him to make nice with Daisy, particularly because it’s only the first charter.
He resists at first but manages to see that pissing off Daisy is not a good idea so he reluctantly drives the tender to retrieve the stews.
Daisy Kelliher is not falling for Gary King’s antics
The second dinner goes much more smoothly and the guests are happy with the food. When it’s time to leave, they give the “BDSY” crew $15,000 total, which amounts to about $1,500 each. Everyone goes out to spend their hard-earned money while Glenn eats a pear in bed.
Everyone’s eating good food and getting along. The guys go have a cigarette and Gary asks Cloyce who he fancies. “Daisy would make a very good wife,” he answers. Gary lets out a big laugh.
Gary and Daisy go for a ciggy next and he tries to get flirty with her but she immediately shuts it down. “You f*cked me over,” she says. “Just warning you. Don’t f*ck up.” He’s surprised by her vitriol and admits to the cameras that he still has feelings for her. Will Gary never learn?
I love this show. Great website, thanks for sharing.
