The “Real Housewives of New York City” are in the Hamptons visiting Erin Lichy’s renovated home where the kitchen looks exactly like the old one. The girl apparently likes white marble and black faucets.
Racquel Chevremont is still not there and a phone call prior revealed that she gets really car sick so she’s driving herself out east. Apparently, Ubah Hassan and Sai De Silva wouldn’t let her sit in the front seat of their car and simply told her to take Dramamine.
When Erin relays this message to Ubah and Sai, they’re immediately on the defensive. Brynn Whitfield stirs the pot even more by saying, “Is she like, crying in her car driving here listening to a podcast?”
Sai whips out her phone and shows a text exchange between her and Racquel. It shows that she offered to drive together but never got a response.
When Racquel rolls into Erin’s house, Sai asks her why she didn’t come with them. Racquel says she offered to drive Brynn’s car because of her car sickness. Meanwhile, Sai thought Racquel implied that she was driving her own car. “So it was wires crossed,” Racquel says. The matter is put to bed … for now.
Brynn Whitfield and Sai De Silva try to make up
Bynn and Sai sit down to hash out their drama. Sai is still furious that Brynn told Jenna Lyons that she hated her. “I’m like, what were your intentions?” Sai asks. Brynn turns around and calls Jenna over as a witness to the stand.
Sai says, “At her party, I said, ‘Jenna, who told you I hate you?'” Jenna answers, “I didn’t specifically call out Brynn.” Jenna is backpedaling so hard that she has left the Hamptons and is now back in Manhattan.
She adds that while Brynn was one of the people who told her Sai didn’t like her, multiple people have told her so as well. Also, she doesn’t remember specifically saying Brynn’s name.
Sai doesn’t know how to argue past this and tells the cameras, “Listen, what can you do with an old lady who can’t remember anything?”
Brynn feels vindicated but Sai still thinks she was shady for telling Jenna that. She doesn’t regret screaming at her at The Fleur Room and tells Brynn that she’s “condescending.” However, a minute later, Brynn hugs Sai and things are good … for now.
The RHONY newbies share stories
The new housewife Racquel has had a pretty fascinating life. Prior to being an art curator, she was a model in the ’90s and married to a man at the time. Now, she rides motorcycles with her fiancée Mel Corpus, who is a forensic neuropsychologist.
Racquel tells the group that Mel proposed to her while they were riding with their motorcycle gang. At a pit stop, Mel surprised her with a giant ring and the first thing Racquel said was, “Are you f*cking kidding me?
It’s gorgeous but she probably has carpal tunnel syndrome from carrying that thing around every day.
Next, it’s Rebecca Minkoff’s turn to share. Her story is a bit more wacky. She reveals that she lost her virginity at 16 years old after her parents told her that they would give her birth control pills if she never took drugs. Seems like a fair trade.
Ubah Hassan calls the RHONY ladies pigeons
New York City is full of pigeons and apparently, the “RHONY” cast is among them. After the group comes back from their dinner, Ubah tells Erin and Jessel Taank that Sai is still upset with Brynn, despite their makeup hug.
She says that she doesn’t want to open up to the group because they’re pigeons. Erin and Jessel are confused as to what she’s saying until Ubah explains that they all talk about each other. “A pigeon carrier,” Jessel says, finally understanding.
Brynn joins the conversation and wants to know why Ubah is talking about her and Sai. “Because Sai came to my room and said that you did not let her speak,” Ubah replies. Brynn thinks this happened before their talk but Ubah tells her that it was afterward.
This sets Brynn off and she tells Ubah to butt out. They start yelling at each other, “Da da da da da da” and “No no no no no no.” They have officially devolved beneath pigeons, who at least communicate through “coos.”
Breakfast is messy in the Hamptons
It finally stopped raining in the Hamptons and the “RHONY” ladies are enjoying breakfast al fresco. Sai has not joined them, however, as Ubah announces that she is upset about being “a pawn.” Ubah relays that Sai didn’t like being thrown under the bus about driving with Racquel and how there’s a lot of miscommunication within the group.
“Maybe it’s because people are using spokespeople and not talking for themselves. Where’s Sai?” Brynn shoots back. Ubah responds with, “Shut the f*ck up.”
Sai then walks out in full-on tenniscore that you know she posted on Instagram as one of her #OOTD. She hears them yelling and asks what’s going on.
Ubah continues to rant about everyone being pigeons and starts spewing profanities at Brynn. Sai calls out, “Pineapple,” which promptly stops Ubah. Apparently, they have agreed on a safe word.
The conversation pivots to safe words used during sex and at least no one’s is “pigeon.” This conversation is far from over.
