Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 Episode 15 Recap: Fourth Stew’s A Charm

Comments Off on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 Episode 15 Recap: Fourth Stew’s A Charm

The fourth stew Carrie O’Neill brings much-needed relief for the chief stew Aesha Scott who can finally eat a meal sitting down. However, Elena Dubaich, is all, “You can’t sit here!” and bosses Carrie around to establish that she’s the second stew, not Carrie. She is. Not Carrie. Mine.

Chef Jono Shillingford messed up big time the last charter by serving a guest raw fish when her preference sheet stated that she was deathly allergic. He’s trying his best to make up for it this time and the guests love the food. If there’s one thing consistent about Jono is that he’s inconsistent.

Later, Aesha asks Carrie to check on the guests who are having a silent disco party on the deck. They request drinks so she prepares them but Elena asks her to help take down the dinner decorations. Aesha passes by and hears Elena so she informs her that she told Carrie to tend to the guests. Elena rolls her eyes.

When the guests ask for more drinks, Elena tells Carrie that she’ll serve them and instructs her to go do housekeeping. Ellie is not playing nicely!

Second stew Elena Dubaich is still hung up on Joe Bradley

Even though Joe Bradley totally dissed Elena by turning down her offer for a date, she’s still flirty with him. “I don’t know what it is about Joe. He just keeps sucking me back in,” she tells the cameras. “I know it’s not good for me but here I am.”

Meanwhile, Joe is flirting with Carrie because she’s new and he likes shiny new things. She doesn’t know yet what a player he is so she flirts right back.

The guests have departed and Elena is bossing Carrie around while making the beds. In an attempt to bond with Elena, Carrie asks if she has a boyfriend. Elena confesses that there was some drama between her and the third stew Bri Muller over Joe.

“Did you hook up with him, then?” Carrie asks. “We just made out. But he was leading her on, then leading me on,” Elena says. She adds, “It’s hard to be upset with him because he’s such a sweet boy.”

After the tip meeting, Aesha asks Carrie how she’s doing. The new stew tells her that Elena is barking orders at her even though she’s not the chief stew and Aesha says, “The only time she should be telling you to do something is if I’m on break.”

“Otherwise, there’s too many cooks in the stew,” Carrie says. Elena has met her match.

The Below Deck Med deckhands disappoint yet again

Before the next charter, the crew is ready for a night out. As Elena takes 5 hours to get ready, she sprays self-tanner on Carrie’s clothes. Oopsie!

Deckie Gael Cameron has plans to travel with her boatmance Nathan Gallagher after the season ends but she tells Aesha that she’s unsure how things will go. “I kind of just want to know that I am a priority. That’s what I kind of saw in Nathan,” she tells the cameras. “He’s looking out for me in ways that I wish my ex would have.”

At dinner, Carrie laughs at Joe’s jokes and he tells her, “Your laugh is the cutest thing.” Elena looks like she wants to slap Joe with a chamois.

The “Below Deck Med” crew heads to a club where Joe pivots his flirting to Elena. He tells her he’ll come back but then he starts flirting with Carrie instead.

Elena vents to Bri, who tells her, “You’re too gorgeous to be worried about a prawn.” She’s not wrong.

Gael and Nathan see the mess that is Joe and his conquests and they laugh at how “normal” they are. “The way that I’m with Gael right now is actually surprising me because I’m not the kind of person that settles. I’m like Joe, to be honest,” he tells the cameras. This doesn’t bode well for Gael. “But I do really like her. Gael is the exception,” Nathan adds.

Unfortunately, Gael was not the exception. In a drunken moment, Joe booked a flight to Dublin with Nathan for after the charter.

When Carrie asks if Gael is going too, Nathan says, “She’s coming with me.” That was not in the plans.

“I’m just a dickhead in the dark thinking that we have all these plans when really, all these plans easily to be scribbled over,” Gael says in a confessional.

Aesha checks in on Gael, who cries that she doesn’t trust that Nathan won’t hurt her like her ex. She chose Nathan, who has chosen Joe over her. Bruh!
