The number one rule “Real Housewives” stars know is to never go after their castmates’ kids and husbands but Mia Thornton threw that out the window.
In “The Real Housewives of Potomac” Season 9 Episode 9 titled “Mediation Nation” Mia was harboring a grudge after Gizelle Bryant questioned her social media post in the last episode.
During the G&A event, Mia shared that her estranged husband Gordon Thornton was upset about her relationship with Inc. She then dropped that at the beginning of her marriage, she got pregnant with Inc’s child and had an abortion. According to her, Gordon, who was diagnosed with Bipolar 1, was in mania at the time.
Later at Wendy’s birthday party, Gizelle told Mia, “At G&A, you shared a lot of sensitive things with us. And then 24 hours later, you’re on Instagram with a full-fledged photoshoot with Gordon and Inc and the children.” Cue everyone’s shocked faces.

Mia’s friend Jacqueline Blake jumped in to state that Gordon is okay with being around Inc for a little bit but then gets aggravated a minute later.
Jassi Rideaux pointed out that Mia makes it seem like everything is all rosy on social media when in reality, Gordon and Inc don’t always get along.
“When we were all talking at G&A, you said that Inc, in front of the kids and in front of Gordon, needs to fall back a little bit,” Gizelle told Mia.
Mia later told the cameras, “I just think it’s really interesting that we’re at a birthday celebration and of course, Gizelle has to make it about critiquing and nitpicking. It’s just nasty work. I don’t like it. I’m getting really frustrated.”

Later in the “RHOP” episode, Ashley Darby rappelled down a tall building to earn money for charity. Afterward, Mia sat down with Gizelle and explained why she was upset at her.
“At your G&A event, I came to you and I shared some really, really sensitive things. But at Wendy’s birthday party, you started questioning, ‘Why would you post this on social media?'” she stated.
Mia added, “You can’t tell me that you’re not really going through things that you don’t ever share on social media. You always post that you’re a beautiful, outstanding mom, your children are perfect…”
“No, they’re not,” Gizelle argued. Mia’s beef with Gizelle was that if she had concerns about the Inc and Gordon situation, she should have told her privately instead of in front of the “RHOP” cast.
In retaliation, Mia then aired some of Gizelle’s supposed dirty laundry. “Your girls were sneaking boys in the house in D.R. You didn’t want me to bring it to the group.”
Gizelle denied this but then recalled, “Oh, I caught a boy on the Ring cam.” Mia told the ladies that she knew about it at the time but didn’t tell the rest of them to keep Gizelle’s matter private. However, out comes the gloves but it was a pretty dirty move.
“Mia’s actually losing her mind. She’s going through a lot with these two men, but what you’re not going to do is lash out on me and my daughters,” Gizelle said in a confessional. She is mad as heck and didn’t respond yet but you know Mia is going to pay for that.
