The dramatic conclusion to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 13 finale is here and Andy Cohen gets right to Sutton Stracke’s drinking. “So Teddi [Mellencamp] commented on your drinking. She said you carry vodka,” he says. Sutton doesn’t even try to deny it and says, “I carry it in my purse, yeah.” With vodka and Merce in her purse, there’s a lot going on in Sutton’s bag.
Andy turns to Kyle Richards and asks, “Was she doing your dirty work?” She responds, “Absolutely not.” Sutton points out that Kyle could have defended her but she defends herself by saying, “I did not say anything. There’s things I could have said and I did not, so how about that?
Sutton argues that her supposed drinking problem is insinuated by Kyle’s silence. “You have got to understand this at some point, Kaahl,” she states. “Kaahl, you have been relentlessly mean to me.”
Kyle brings up that Sutton could have been more compassionate toward her after losing her best friend Lorene. Sutton admits she could have been a better friend and apologizes. Kyle is still salty about getting asked about her marriage during her weed dinner party but tells Andy that she still loves Sutton as a friend and there’s hope moving forward. “We’re going to be faaahn,” Sutton agrees. They hug it out.
Kathy Hilton scares the bejesus out of Sutton Stracke
Dun, dun DUN! Kathy Hilton comes out and we’re about to find out why she’s at the reunion even though she wasn’t on “RHOBH” Season 13, which is a first. Kathy makes her niceties, which is about to change very soon. Flashbacks to Kyle and Kathy fighting, Sutton revealing that Kathy was mad at her for not sticking up for her in the press, and Erika Jayne saying that the women want to be friends with Kathy for her status and parties.
After the montage, Kathy is already dabbing her tears away. Andy asks Erika who is the most afraid of Kathy, to which she answers, “She’s Beverly Hills and she sets that standard and there are a lot of women … You don’t want to run crossways with this one.”
All of a sudden, Sutton says, “Woah,” and leans against Garcelle Beauvais like she’s falling. Everyone is concerned because Sutton is shaking. Apparently, they have a paramedic on hand because one starts marching to the set.
Kathy jokes that it’s a hot flash because Sutton is 49 years old. She tells the medic that she got scared. He tells her that her blood pressure and pulse are high while Andy fans her with his note cards.
The medic tells her that she should get checked out and Kathy is looking at her phone. “How’ve you been?” Erika asks her. “Good. I love the holidays so much and I didn’t feel like I got to enjoy it as much.” Kathy says. “Is your tree still up?” Erika asks. Next, they’re going to start talking about Kathy’s caviar and potato recipe.
Someone gets Sutton slippers and Garcelle helps her to her room. Kathy whispers to Kyle, “I was about to go after her next … I think she knew it.” Kyle lets out a laugh. “It’s a good way to get out of being here,” Kathy tells Erika. “Shut up,” she laughs and adds, “But you’re right.” It looks like someone is trying to get invited to Kathy’s parties.
Sutton is in her dressing room and Garcelle makes her eat a banana. She’s shaking while she tries to drink orange juice.
Back to filming. Erika and Crystal Kung Minkoff gush about how powerful Kathy is in Beverly Hills. Chi chi chi chi!
Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards’ rocky relationship
Kathy defends her and Kyle’s relationship by stating that they rarely fight like how “RHOBH” has depicted. Andy asks about Mauricio Umansky’s role in their rift and Kathy states that he told her husband Rick Hilton that he was leaving his real estate firm on Thursday only for his last day to be on the following Friday. “That put Kyle and I in kind of a funky … ” Kyle doesn’t want to talk about it, per usual.
Back at the trailer, Sutton isn’t improving and Garcelle wants to go with her to get checked out. Andy gets a text from production and tells the other housewives, “Just want to let you know Sutton is OK but they’re going to take her to the hospital out of an abundance of caution and Garcelle is going with her to the hospital.”
He then tells them that he needs to grab Sutton and Garcelle’s phones, along with Merce’s ashes. The housewives look agog.
Andy asks how Kyle and Kathy’s rift got repaired because the show must move on, after all. Kyle explains that their sister Kim Richards’ daughter Whitney had a bridal shower and then the family visited Kyle’s Aspen house. Kathy gets choked up recalling the happy event.
Kyle Richards talks about her marriage
Kyle and Kathy’s happy moment is ruined when Andy brings up Kyle and Mauricio’s marital issues. Flashbacks to moments during Season 13 when fans see glimpses of their problems and the cast questioning Kyle. Dorit Kemsley’s hair sticks to her forehead in concern.
Kyle wipes away tears after the montage. Andy asks what started Kyle and Mauricio’s rift. “You know, like with any marriage, there’s issues that you have and they come up. And you get busy, and you’ve got kids. My kids are little, I’m working, I’m being a mom and doing all that, and it gets put aside and then will come up again,” Kyle answers. “Some of the issues never went away or they were never really like, worked on.” She again alluded to her Season 13 confessional that something Mauricio did to make her lose her trust.
Without really saying what Mauricio did to break her trust, Kyle says she “really did try.” She says, “I finally just had a breaking point but I really thought it would come back, you know. I thought, okay well, this is just a temporary thing … and then it didn’t [come back].”
Andy brings up something everyone is thinking, which is someone cheated. Kyle admits that the rumors of Mauricio cheating over the years caused her to doubt him. “They made me feel insecure,” she says.
Kyle, who is in the sharing spirit for once, tells the group that when Mauricio was first on social media, he would get DMs from randos but not know about it. She reveals that she would go through his phone and block the women.
However, when he found out about the magical world of DMs, he would follow said randos and like their pictures. Kyle had to school him about how that made him look. “There was always a reason that he gave but they were not good enough reasons for me,” she says.
Kyle Richards talks about Morgan Wade
Andy asks a fan question about why Kyle won’t just reveal the reason for her separation with Mauricio. “Because it’s none of their f***ing business,” she spits out.
Even Dorit’s baby hair looks aghast. Why be on a reality show and not be forthcoming about your life?
Kathy gives some insight into Kyle and Mauricio’s marriage. She says that Kyle has been busy for the past few years traveling and working, which allowed her to not focus on her marriage, likening her to a hamster on a wheel. “You were a little weird for three years.”
Kyle then shares that Morgan Wade was not prepared for the level of scrutiny “RHOBH” would cause. Andy asks the group, “Did you all think that they were together?” No one wants to answer at first but then Crystal has the balls to say, “I did.” She adds, “I just thought it was like, way low-key but people sent me stuff like Instagram pictures and I remember thinking, ‘They’re together.'”
Dorit says she saw Instagram pics of Kyle and Morgan and agrees, “It looked like you guys were girlfriends.”
Annemarie Wiley says from the end of the couch, “I think it’s great when you have a friendship with somebody and you guys like, really get each other and there are things that you can bond over. You know, I think that’s really important especially when you’re going through such a tough time in your life.”
On kissing Morgan in her music video, Kyle admits that she was “curious” to do so. “I was obviously curious. I said ‘Yes’ for a reason. And you know what, she’s hot. What can I say?”
Andy flat-out asks Kyle if she and Morgan are in a relationship and she says, “No.” When he asks her if she has feelings for the country star, she answers, “I mean, I love her and she’s my friend, and I love her.” Andy asks her if she could see herself with Morgan and Kyle says, “I don’t know … I’m evolving. I’m changing. I’m clearly going through some evolution of my own … I don’t know what my future holds right now.”
The ladies give their final thoughts and when Crystal says she learned she can use her voice this season, Dorit rolls her eyes. It’s Dorit’s turn and Andy yawns. And that concludes “RHOBH” Season 13.
