Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 Episode 4 Recap: Drama Queens

Comments Off on Real Housewives of Dubai Season 2 Episode 4 Recap: Drama Queens

“The Real Housewives of Dubai” newbie Taleen Marie is now a fitness instructor out of nowhere and has set up a class for women. In a confessional, she explains that when she moved to Dubai from Los Angeles almost 10 years ago, her husband Rafael Khanoyan was too busy working to pay attention to her.

What is a bored housewife to do? Why start training other bored housewives of course! Certifications and training be damned!

Taleen says that the local women would feel hesitant about working out at the gym with other men around or feel ashamed about wanting to look good. “I saw all that and I was like, I can really help women.”

She wants to make this a thing but Rafael is pushing for them to have a third child because he wants a boy to carry on the Khanoyan name. Taleen, however, is not ready to give up her glimmer of a career and is working hard to stave off Rafael’s need to sire a male offspring.

Sergio Carallo is up Caroline Stanbury’s butt

Speaking of children, Sergio Carallo can’t leave Caroline Stanbury alone while she’s trying to get ready to move to their own house.

“Honey, where are you going?” he asks her whilst she’s packing. “Anywhere you’re not,” she jokes, except she’s not joking.

While she’s dealing with paying bills, Sergio is like a relentless toddler who wants her attention. Caroline keeps gently telling him to wait until she’s done but he asks questions after questions. This all goes to show that she’d be fine having another baby because she has the patience of a saint.

Caroline tells him, “Sergio, stop asking me questions.” He wants to help but he’s doing the exact opposite. Can’t he just go to the kitchen and get a squeezy yogurt to snack on?

Caroline Stanbury red track suit

She’s trying to pay all the bills, bills, bills, but Sergio wants affirmation that he’s taking out her bags. When she doesn’t respond, he demands that she listen to him. This is when Caroline finally snaps.

“I said I’m dealing with Barari [their new residence]. I’m dealing with Barari. I’m dealing with Barari. Do you want to move? They cannot give me the f*cking keys without it!” she yells. “And then you ask me 57 times about these f*cking handbags. F*ck my life.”

Meanwhile, poor Michael is listening to them fight and tries to help. Caroline explains that Barari needs a list of things complete before they close. Michael understands all of what she’s saying because he’s a grown-up who owns his own home, which infuriates Sergio.

“Thank you so much for sharing that with me. Because I’m the husband,” he yells. Caroline then tells him to “f*ck off” and calls him a “gnat.”

Michael says passive-aggressively, “I’m trying to just figure out what I can do to help as I’ve been doing for the last three months.” Caroline corrects him that it’s two months and he replies, “No, it feels like six.”

Sergio is not done and comes back to say, “I am the man of the house. You have to always prioritize me.” Me, me, me, me! He storms off like a petulant toddler while Caroline sighs.

Chanel Ayan has no idea how old she is

Chanel Ayan doesn’t know her exact age so she goes to a forensic teeth specialist to find out if she’s older or younger than Caroline.

“I didn’t have a birth certificate growing up until I was older because my village is in the middle of nowhere,” she explains in a confessional.

Lesa Milan is with her and they’re waiting for Caroline who’s only coming to see if Chanel is older than her. Chanel thinks that if she’s older than Caroline but looks better, it’ll make her frenemy boil and they both cackle.

As Chanel goes in for her X-rays, Caroline arrives. When they go in to check on Chanel, Caroline asks why her X-ray shows missing teeth.

Chanel explains that they were so rotten when she was younger that her mom just yanked them out.

“You’re not putting any new ones in?” Caroline asks. “I’ve never thought about it,” Chanel answers. Caroline looks horrified.

Chanel Ayan throws a queens dinner

Chanel is a queen and wants to celebrate the queen that everyone else is so she throws a queen-themed dinner. Of course, she comes wearing a bejeweled crown and neck full of pearls.

Everyone’s late so she entertains herself by dancing … by herself. The cast finally arrives an hour later and of course, the two Carolines are the only other queens wearing crowns.

Caroline Brooks pearl crown red lipstick

Caroline Brooks tries to make nice and gives Stanbury an air kiss even though their beef is not resolved.

In a sweet moment, Chanel says, “I am happy that I have all you girls in my life and each one of you brings something different [to] me and I like it. Honestly, I do. And you’re all queens to me.”

The conversation moves to Stanbury and her big move. Everyone congratulates her except for Brooks, which Lesa Milan points out. “I’m agreeing … I just swallowed my food,” she explains.

“I feel like you and you act like everything is great but I know it’s not,” Chanel tells Stanbury and Brooks. Stanbury insists that they’re all “friends.”

However, Stanbury says in a confessional, “Brooks and I are in a total cold war.” Meanwhile, Brooks tells the cameras, “I’ve done my best. I’ve been there for her but friendship is 50-50.”

The queens get royally pissed off

At the dinner, they all go around the table and choose a queen to compliment. Everyone says nicey-nice things and Stoic Stanbury asks the cameras, “What is this? Like, is someone passing around mushrooms?”

Then, Taleen pulls Stanbury aside to tell her that Sergio told her husband Raffi that he felt disrespected by her kids. Stanbury insists everything is fine and that she has spoken to her daughter about the way she jokes with Sergio.

Stanbury tells the cameras, “I’m taken aback hearing this news from somebody I’ve just met. I’m more. upset at Sergio for discussing my private business and my children with somebody we’ve just met.” She adds, “But I do appreciate Taleen being concerned, bringing it to me, and not doing that publicly.”

Meanwhile, the other RHODubai queens are itching to know what’s going on. If there’s anything Real Housewives hates, it’s being left out.

When Stanbury and Taleen get back to the table, Lesa asks what their conversation was about. Taleen answers, “I was just looking out for a friend.”

Lesa is not letting it go and Taleen tells her to move on. “B*tch, I moved on,” Lesa answers.

Taleen is not having it. Maybe Lesa doesn’t know that Taleen does CrossFit for fun and could roll a tire over her body. “Don’t go there,” Lesa says, even though she went there in the first place. This is not how queens act, ladies!
