It’s the morning after Caroline Stanbury’s housewarming party and apparently, she was too tired to take off her makeup. She’s furious that Caroline Brooks came in burning sage in her new expensive home and then had beef with Taleen Marie. “They were fighting like a playground,” she says.
In a confessional, Lesa Milan expresses her shock that Taleen’s husband Rafael Khanoyan yelled at Brooks at the party. “A guy shouting at a woman is never okay. But in Dubai, where men don’t even address women, this is a big deal. This is a very Islamic culture where women are put on a pedestal and treated as queens.”
It’s Bali time! The women are all at the airport and guess who shows up — Stanbury with her son husband Sergio Carrallo. They tell everyone that he’s coming along. He has his suitcases and passport and everything. Chanel Ayan is pissed because it’s a girls’ trip.
Before she chucks him out of the airport, he tells everyone that it’s a joke and that he’s actually going to Spain. How can he bear to be apart from his wife for even a minute? He and Stanbury say goodbye and he manages not to cry too much.
Brooks is MIA and Sara Al Madani is worried. However, Stanbury and Taleen couldn’t care less, and nine hours later, they’re in Bali, baby!
Taleen’s talons come out
After they’ve landed, they still can’t reach Brooks and she’s not picking up her phone. At this point, everyone except for Stanbury is worried.
“All I’m thinking in my mind is, did somebody steal her? Is her organs in the market?” Chanel asks the cameras.
Soon everyone forgets about Brooks because their villa is stunning and comes complete with a butler, a private chef, and two massive fish tanks.
They all get ready and Stanbury has brought her makeup artist because she’s a rich b*tch. At dinner, Sara tells the ladies that her intentions for the trip are to have them all resolve any issues and for everyone to get to know each other better.
Taleen promises to not start any drama but Chanel tells her, “I heard you were chasing her at Caroline Stanbury’s house saying, ‘Where is your husband? Where is your husband?'”
“Don’t go there when I said I don’t want drama right now,” Taleen shoots back. “That’s dirty what you’re doing.”
Lesa jumps to Taleen’s defense and says, “I was there. I did not see her chase down Brooks.” Sara suggests they table the conversation because Brooks isn’t there and there’s a truce for now.
Caroline Brooks makes her grand entrance
Back at the villa, they’re all dancing and Chanel is writhing around on the floor because she’s had alcohol. All of a sudden, Brooks comes sauntering in like she’s walking the runway.
She explains that hours before the flight, she decided she didn’t want to go because she was too stressed over all the drama. The next morning, she woke up and changed her mind and here she is. Taleen asks Brooks how she got there. “I flew private,” Brooks claims.
Stanbury says in a confessional, “Brooks did not fly private. That would have been like, a quarter of a million-dollar trip.
Everyone dances some more and then it’s night-night for the grandmas.
Caroline Stanbury is over Caroline Brooks’ healing journey
The next day, the ladies go on a boat and after a tequila shot, Brooks starts talking smack. “The Taleen I see now is not the Taleen that I’ve known for eight years,” she tells Chanel, who hushes her.
“Talk to her like your friend you’ve known for eight years,” Chanel advises. “Talk to her like the mother of the children you love.”
Brooks says she doesn’t know if she’s able to yet because she’s still hurt. However, she’s ready to move on with Stanbury and they lounge on the hammock together while everyone eats.
Stanbury makes fun of Brooks’ spiritual healing journey and tells her, “You’re very prickly. And actually, I gave up.” She explains that it was easier to talk to Brooks before she decided to have people like Sara speak for her. “It made it a lot worse.” She adds, “Yeah, I think you need to stop the healing because you were better before.”
Meanwhile, Chanel is sitting on some tea about Sara. A couple of days ago, she got sent a voice message of Sara saying she didn’t like Brooks, while the whole time, she was trying to be the Brooks whisperer. She had told Stanbury and Taleen about it, so guess who is the one who will use the info to their advantage.
Caroline Stanbury spills the tea
At dinner, Brooks tells everyone that Stanbury is not on board with her healing journey. Lesa and Sara immediately jump on Stanbury. “Put an effort to get to know the new her after her experience with healing from her traumas,” Sara tells her.
This is the point Stanbury was trying to make to Brooks. She tells Sara that she’s fine talking to Brooks one-on-one. It’s when Sara jumps in and tries to speak for Brooks that things go haywire. Not everyone understands spiritual gangster language. Or wants to listen to a Hallmark card.
Saba Yussouf jumps in to say that Sara’s just being a good friend. This is the perfect opportunity for Stanbury to bring up the voice note. Muhahaha.
“You want to call me out for my behavior, let me call you out for your behavior,” Stanbury tells the cameras. “Let’s all sing from the same hymn book here.”
Chanel admits that she played a voice note of Sara shading Brooks. It turns out that Lesa was the one who sent Chanel the audio. “Yeah, I’m sorry. I did play it,” Chanel says.
All hell breaks loose. “I cannot trust you now,” Lesa tells Chanel. “This is f*cked up,” Sara says. Goodbye peace, hello drama.
