It’s been a riveting Season 2 of “The Real Housewives of Dubai” with friendships mended and others completely severed. Taleen Marie is annoyed that Caroline Stanbury didn’t stick up for her during her spat with Lesa Milan. Stanbury points out that her supposed BFF Caroline Brooks didn’t so why should she? It sounds harsh but her English accent softens it a bit.
Just in case you forgot how rich Lesa is, she’s wearing Dior undereye patches. Who knew they made designer face masks? Not us plebians who go to TJ Maxx for discounted K-beauty.
Even though they’re at a golf resort, no one’s playing golf and they’re all having post-breakfast cocktails. Taleen wants to talk to Lesa about what happened at dinner the night before and everyone visibly tenses up. Stanbury is the only smart one and gets up to sit with the guys.
Taleen apologizes to Lesa for interjecting herself into her beef with Brooks but she doesn’t appreciate being called a b*tch at dinner.
“I should not have called you out of your name but Taleen, I swear to god, you do things that irritate the sh*t out of me,” Lesa responds. “And one of those things is chiming in when it’s not necessary.” Fingers are in the air, things are about to go left.
Lesa is super defensive and doesn’t want to apologize to Taleen. She’s over it and gets up to leave. Her husband Richard Hall just wants to drink with the other husband but alas, he is whisked away.
After she leaves, the girls tell Chanel Ayan that she’s up Lesa’s ass and blindly defends her. They tell her that she’s different when she’s not around her bestie and she realizes that she’s a monkey that doesn’t see its own a**hole. It’s a Swahili saying, just in case you’re confused.
Presenting Real Housewives of Dubai Queens Stanbury and Ayan
Everyone is planning on leaving Dubai for the summer because the temperature rises to over 120 degrees Fahrenheit and everyone’s weaves will melt. Stanbury and Chanel agree to host a “Goodbye Dubai” party together, which will boil Lesa’s blood more than the heat.
Of course, the venue is fabulous and there are walls of expensive wine and million-dollar cars just casually scattered around. Stanbury and Chanel ensconce themselves in thrones and greet their guests like they’re queens.
Sara Al Madani updates the ladies about her relationship status with Akin Fontana. After telling him that she needed to focus on her son for the time being, he had the gall to hang up on her. Does he not know that she’s a spiritual gangster and will rearrange his chakras?
Brooks walks in with a date and he looks like he’s barely legal. She claims Max is just a friend who slid into her DMs and they’re just friends.
“There is absolutely nothing romantic going on with me and Max,” she tells the cameras. “I chose to leave the baby in the cradle.”
Sergio Carrallo does a funny and goes up to Stanbury to say, “Somebody is younger than me for once.” She laughs uproariously and then tells him to take his bowtie off because he looks like a waiter. This is how you keep men on their toes, folks. Learn from the queen.
RIP Lesa Milan and Chanel Ayan’s friendship
Since the other “RHODubai” cast has told Chanel that she’s different around Lesa, she tried to discuss the matter with her. However, according to Chanel, Lesa shut the conversation down and told her not to bring it up because it made her look like a bad friend.
At the party, Lesa cryptically tells Chanel to “enjoy” her friendship ride with Stanbury. “Just don’t fall off because I’ll be the first one in line to laugh.”
Chanel later tries to talk to Lesa but gets a death glare. She walks away and when Taleen tells Lesa that Chanel is upset, she finally goes to her.
Chanel tries to tell her how she feels about their friendship being one-sided but Lesa shuts her down. She instead brings up how Chanel supposedly told her that Stanbury thought Lesa was bragging about buying a farm in Cotswold, England.
This was after Lesa told Stanbury that Richard’s dream was to own a multi-acre farm in the country. Stanbury offered to sell her mom’s property but it was too small for what Richard wanted.
If anyone can afford to buy a farm in Cotswald, they have every right to brag but Chanel claims she never told Lesa that Stanbury said she “bragged.”
Both Chanel and Lesa accuse each other of lying and sadly, it looks like their friendship is dunzo. According to the reunion trailer, it looks like Lesa brings receipts to make Chanel look bad and it’s gonna get ugly! But at least the ladies look beautiful in their blood-red outfits.
