It’s Valentine’s Day and there’s a new love blossoming between Katie Ginella and Shannon Beador. The newbie has invited Shannon over for a little snack and has gifted her with flowers. So cute!
“I’ve heard that Shannon is a little Debbie Downer but she seems like an incredibly fun person,” Katie tells the cameras. “I actually really enjoy Shannon.”
Shannon tells Katie that she appreciated not having Alexis Bellino at the golf outing. Katie tells her that she wanted her to enjoy the day without having to deal with her ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend.
Meanwhile, in the rich part of town, Heather Dubrow has Gina Kirschenheiter and Jennifer Pedranti over for a little Galentine’s get-together. She has face masks for them and Jennifer’s glam that she paid for is about to get ruined.
Gina apologizes for the Katie paparazzi situation to which Heather replies, “Now I’m just confused and irritated.” She continues, “You’re my friend and I would expect you to tell her that it’s not okay.”
Heather starts probing and Gina admits that Katie told her about the allegedly staged paparazzi photos months before, in December. It’s not February and Heather is wondering why Gina didn’t tell her then. Gina’s eye mask almost falls off in fear of Heather’s wrath.
“I thought it was in the best interest of everybody to let that go and to never bring that up,” Gina says. “I f*cked up and I’m sorry.”
Katie Ginella is disappointed in her friend
After the golf outing debacle, Katie and Gina meet up. They make small talk and then the real issue comes out. “I feel like I’m in a weird spot right now because I felt kind of abandoned by you a little bit,” Katie says.
She thinks Gina took Heather’s side without even having her back a little bit. “Yeah, but I’ll be honest. I’m not going to stay neutral,” Gina answers. “I did have your back. Like, I told you not to bring it up.”
Katie admits that she did in the beginning but the paparazzi story spiraled out of control. “Yeah, because of your own doing,” Gina points out.
She continues to say that she should have taken Heather’s side more, which hurts Katie. “I left being yelled at by Heather Dubrow and I wasn’t even upset about that. But with you, I value you so much that I did feel kind of alone.”
Katie starts tearing up and that’s when Gina realizes how much she hurt her. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry!” she says.
“I really love Gina, but now it all makes me think back on every situation where we talked. Everything I said was maybe going to be used against me when I didn’t feel like that was our relationship,” Katie says in a confessional.
At lunch, Gina says, “I just want this to get better.” Katie replies, “Maybe it just won’t for a while.”
Tamra Judge is sipping Jesus Jugs’ wine now
After years of hating on Alexis, Tamra is now fully BFFs with Jesus Jugs and has a keke at her house. What’s the saying? The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Now that Tamra and Shannon are no longer amigas, the podcast host has found another ally to glom onto.
Alexis is upset that she wasn’t invited to Katie’s golf outing even though she lives on a golf course. Strange flex but okay.
Tamra explains that Katie and Shannon are getting closer adding, “She felt like it would be disrespectful to Shannon if you were there so I guess she kind of picked a side.”
Tamra then starts labeling Shannon as an alcoholic and recalls years of her being drunk. “She would call me crying almost every single day. It’s hard to be around somebody like that a lot.”
“I’ve always felt really sorry for Shannon back from the days of David. I was always there for her, I was always listening to her problems, I was always trying to help her out. But if I need something, which was rare, she was never there,” Tamra says in a confessional.
Alexis and Tamra then talk about the $75,000 that John Janssen is going after Shannon for. She tells Tamra that she’s ready to take down Shannon with receipts if she fights it.
Gina Kirschenheiter’s dinner party from hell
Gina hosts an event for the first time ever and it’s a nice dinner party at a restaurant with a hidden room in the back. It turns out that the private area was necessary for these women.
Alexis is there and Shannon has brought Vicki Gunvalson so there’s going to be some screaming. From whom is yet to be determined.
The server comes around and asks Shannon what she’d like to drink. Vicki says she’s allowed to have a cockie because she’s not driving. This is Tamra’s cue to get all judgy.
After Shannon orders a vodka soda, Tamra snaps, “Oh yeah, an alcoholic should drink.” Even Vicki is stunned into silence.
“You’ve been on this path 10 years with me and it needs to stop,” Shannon tells Tamra. “Everybody has!” Tamra screams.
Shannon says that she wakes up every morning thinking about her DUI. “Is that after you have a drink?” Tamra says. This dinner party is getting dark, fast.
Alexis Bellino doubles down at the dinner party
Tamra keeps berating Shannon and tells her that she dates bad guys. She must have forgotten her new BFF Alexis is sitting right there. Oopsie!
She then brings up how Shannon owes John $70,000. Alexis says it’s actually $75,000 for a facelift and a loan. Now all the dirty details are out.
“We know you’ve been coached, Alexis,” Shannon tells her. “Oh, you want receipts?” Alexis asks. She holds up her phone. “I have the wire transfers right here.”
At this point, Shannon storms out. Her ex giving Alexis proof that he gave her money is beyond cruel. We can all collectively agree that John Janssen is a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad man.
Jenn goes to check on Shannon, who is hurt that no one else ran after her. “There’s a lot of talk in there right now,” Jenn informs her.
“He’s saying I owe him money because you know why? Because he’s spending too much right now,” Shannon says. Jenn wants her to go back in and defend herself but homegirl’s out.
Vicki tells the rest of the ladies to be kind Christians. “This is icky,” says Vicki. Another Real Housewives dinner from hell.
