Tina Barta is gloating over winning a star without having to do anything and who can blame her? Rachel Robinson advises Ayanna Mackins to tone down the drama. “Ever since Janelle [Casanave] left, it’s real chilly,” Ayanna says.
Derek Chavez tells the cameras, “There’s something about Ayanna that can get under your skin so bad and if she sees that she’s bothering you, she’ll pick and pick and pick and pick. That’s how Ayanna basically pushed Janelle out of this game.”
Tony Raines is the next player to go. He tells Nicole Zanatta that he has a family emergency he needs to tend to. There’s something going on with his brother but he doesn’t disclose the details.
Laurel Stucky reaches out to Nicole despite their history. “Even though our relationship has been very up and down, I feel as if I can be there for her,” she tells the cameras.
Tony Raines gets replaced
Because Tony had to leave, TJ Lavin tells the group that another all-star would be coming in. It’s Syrus Yarbrough from “The Real World: Boston.” It can’t get any more old-school than that.
The challenge is called “Domino Motherf*cker.” Basically, the paired team has to match up dominoes and this is a double elimination so both males and females are on the chopping block.
Everyone has to use their brains for this daily challenge and each team has their own strategy. Averey Tressler and Adam Larson win, which is unexpected. Cara Maria Sorbello and Ace Amerson come second.
They’re all scrambling to make it to the middle group and Kam Williams and Ryan Kehoe take the last spot. A lot of the alliances are in the bottom group, including Rachel, Tina Barta, and Veronica Portillo.
Ayanna is part of the bottom group and she has a target on her back from her messy game thus far. Things are not looking good for her.
Killa Kam goes after Ayanna Mackins
Kam hears that Ayanna wants to go after her and Leroy Garrett for being a couple and she is activated. “Why are you coming for us? We’re roommates. You said that you were with us, so to now here that you are possibly against us, I am disgusted,” Kam tells the cameras.
In order to get to the bottom of things, Kam talks to Ayanna one-on-one. “I just want to get it out. I was told that you said that you were trying to throw me and Lee in,” she says.
“No, I didn’t,” Ayanna answers. “That was a lie. Somebody lied to you, Kam. I swear on all four of my children right now. I didn’t talk to nobody about putting you and Lee in.” Flashback to her telling someone that a lot of people want to put Kam and Leroy in.
Then, Ayanna goes off the rails and stomps away in a huff. “Show me the people, Kam,” she keeps saying.
Ayanna accuses Brandon Nelson of accusing her, who then says in a confessional, “I overheard it. Like, she was talking about it at the, uh, the challenge. She said, ‘Man, we got to, we got to break that up.'” Ayanna keeps asking people if they said it but Kam and Leroy don’t want to throw anyone under the bus.
Ayanna Mackins gets voted into elimination
Kefla Hare and Syrus is an easy choice for the guys. When it comes to the women’s vote, Brandon and Kam immediately say Ayanna’s name and want to vote Rachel in with her, as she has the best chance at beating her. “I would appreciate if you guys had my back,” Kam tells the group.
It’s Cara Maria’s turn and Kam fully expects her to vote her way. Instead, Cara Maria votes in Ayanna and throws away her other vote on Flora Alekseyeva because she doesn’t want Rachel to possibly lose her star. Kam looks displeased.
Cara Maria, who has an alliance with Rachel to help each other protect their stars, says, “I’m protecting my own right to get to the end.” Kam points out that if Ayanna goes against Flora, she’ll most likely come back. “I feel like you don’t have my back in this moment,” she tells Cara Maria. “I know,” Cara Maria says.
The elimination is a brawler
Upon entering the elimination grounds, we see a large tube with a ball in the middle, similar to Hall Brawl. “Tonight, we are playing Down the Tube,” TJ announces. The elimination is simple. The players have to push their opponents and the ball out of the structure and they win.
Kefla and Syrus go first and they’re pretty much equally matched, physically. Kefla gets the first round easily. In the second round, Syrus is all the way at the end of the tube and hunkers down to prevent Kefla from pushing him off.
In the end, Syrus isn’t able to hold his stance and Kefla pushes him off. Syrus came a long way just to do one challenge and go home. Womp womp.
Rachel and Ayanna are next, and while Rachel is stacked, Ayanna is pretty strong as well. Surprisingly, Rachel has a hard time pushing Ayanna out of the tube. Ayanna takes her focus off the game for a second to yell, “If you’re going to get me Kam, you got to get me your damn self.”
Ayanna loses the first round and during the second round, Rachel is using all her leg strength to squeeze Ayanna out and is successful.
It’s time to steal some stars. Kefla takes Brad Fiorenza’s and Rachel, who already has a star, takes Tina’s and gives it to Veronica.
Kam thinks Rachel is playing a scared game by not stealing Cara Maria’s star, but she’s just trying to keep her friends in the game by protecting them, while not making enemies with one of the strongest players in the game. It may be safe, but it’s smart at this point.
