Comments Off on Vanderpump Rules Season 11 Episode 13 Recap: Jax Attack

Jax Taylor shows up at James Kennedy’s house and they talk about their upcoming brunch event at Sur. Poor Jax must be missing his “Vanderpump Rules” days.

He then asks James if Katie Maloney is going to be there, to which the DJ says she will. Jax has a bone to pick with her and tells James, “Apparently Katie, she’s telling everybody now that I cheated on my wife. Is she that pissed off?”

“I hope Jax isn’t cheating on Brittany. Let’s face it, Jax Taylor has a checkered past,” James tells the cameras. Flashback to Jax admitting to Brittany that he slept with Faith Stowers.

Because of Jax’s history, James has to go with Katie on this one.

Jax’s return to Sur is not looking good, as he has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to Lisa Vanderpump. “I’m not going to bow down to her because you own a few restaurants in Hollywood. Come on,” he tells James.

Brittany Cartwright visits Scheana Shay and Summer Moon is happy to see her. Brittany asks if she wants to have more kids and Scheana says she doesn’t want to get pregnant again because of her previous complications. She’s putting makeup on Summer Moon for some reason while she’s talking to Brittany.

Scheana Shay and Brock Davies discuss their marital issues … with other people

Brittany tells Scheana that she and Jax are going to start trying. Scheana starts complaining about her husband Brock Davies and how they’ve been fighting a lot lately.

Brock is out complaining to his friend Luke that they need extra help with Summer Moon but Scheana doesn’t want a stranger in their house. “But I need somebody in the house so that I can step away and go fill my cup,” Brock says. He adds that it’s coming between him and Scheana, particularly because she makes the money.

Back to Scheana and Brittany. Scheana admits that Brock not having a job is an issue and Brittany shares that when she started making more money, Jax had a problem with it.

“I feel like there’s all these standards that men and women feel like they have to meet. Like, why can’t he be the stay-at-home dad? Why can’t the woman go out and make the money?” Scheana says in a confessional.

Scheana starts crying and she tells Brittany that her OCD and anxiety have gotten worse after having Summer Moon and she’s been having intrusive thoughts. “I trust my husband. He’s amazing, but it’s just like, people, like make comments about like, him and Lala all of the time.”

According to Scheana, fans have said, “We see the say Lala’s eyes light up when Brock walks in the room.” She tells Brittany, “I don’t think that at all but my brain goes there now. Like, a nanny, I’m like, could you imagine if like your husband left you for the nanny?”

Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney’s post-divorce relationship is coming along

Tom Schwartz and Katie have lunch. He asks if she likes his new bleached hair and her face says it all.

Like dating the same person isn’t weird enough, he asks Katie how her date with Tori went. She smiles and says it went well. “I think she just liked me more than she liked you,” she gloats. Schwartz says he got a “peck” from her but she tells him she “got tongue.” Haha. Schwartz suggests they both text Tori at the same time to see who she texts back first.

“I think Katie pursuing a girl that I’ve been hanging out with is her way of saying that, ‘I miss hanging out.’ I think that’s our post-divorce love language,” Schwartz tells the cameras.

Tori ends up texting Schwartz two minutes before Katie. She tells him it’s because Schwartz’s was at the top. Nothing like some friendly competition between two exes.

Scheana Shay and Brock Davies cry at their anniversary dinner

Scheana and Brock go on a date for their anniversary. He tells her that he had this big plan when he moved to the States from Australia and almost got into the NFL but didn’t make it. Now, he doesn’t know what to do and he feels guilty for the pressures he puts on Scheana.

She assures him that he takes the pressure off of her and is present for their daughter, which allows her to work. “Like, put the sports ego and manliness aside. Like, have you ever thought that maybe this is your second chance at being a dad and you’re going to be the best f*cking dad to this kid?”

Brock starts crying but at least he and Scheana are getting somewhere.

Lisa Vanderpump and Jax Taylor hash things out … sort of

The “Vanderpump Rules” group all arrive at Sur for Jax and James’ event and it’s like it’s 10 years ago again, except no one works there anymore and they have kids. But it’s also the same because there are still goat cheese balls and petty drama.

Lisa Vanderpump asks Guillermo why Jax is hosting a brunch there and he tells her that the restaurant is at max capacity so that’s something. She’s not a fan of Jax’s after he went on a podcast and talked smack about her.

James comes by and Lisa tells him she didn’t know he invited Jax to host a brunch with him. “It hasn’t been an ongoing thing. It’s just like, something that he’s been asking us both for a while,” James answers.

Jax saunters in and invites himself to sit with Lisa. She calls him out about the podcast where he said, “Lisa’s a prop. She’s not needed. She’s superfluous.”

“I don’t even know what that word means,” Jax says. James looks up the definition. “It means unnecessary, especially through being more than enough.” Jax goes, “Oh, super-fullous.”

Lisa’s over it and tells Jax, “I could have hit back in the press and said the only person that wasn’t needed in the show was you. I could have said that but I didn’t.”

Jax replies, “So, the last three years, you haven’t checked on me and my wife. You wrote me off.” Lisa hits back with, “You’re such a f*cking hypocrite.”

James needs to go do his set and Jax gives Lisa an awkward hug. Could this be his entrance into “Vanderpump Rules” again if “The Valley” doesn’t work out?

James Kennedy throws a pool party

The gang is back at James’ house where they can let loose in the pool and listen to planes flying by overhead. Katie tells James that Ally mentioned their upcoming trip to Ohio and his reluctance to leave Hippie with anyone other than his brother, who is unavailable to dog sit.

“It’s just four days,” Katie says. “Do you understand, I’m going to have an anxiety attack the second I leave,” James answers. He points out that they have human babies so they should understand.

“I don’t trust anybody. And I got him back … and I’m never going to let anything keep us apart again,” he cries.

“No one else understands how deep it goes with me and Hippie. I love him so much, okay? Our souls are literally conjoined. I just want to baby him and take care of him,” James says in a confessional.

Jax, despite coming down on Brittany for drinking too much, wants to have fun and drink. James warns Katie that Jax is upset at her.

“There were rumors about Jax cheating on Brittany online that thousands of people saw. And now, Jax is blaming me for the rumors being out there in the world. The man doesn’t know how the internet works,” Katie says in a confessional.

Schwartz calls Jax over and Katie asks him what his damage is. “Because I took a picture with a female? So?” James asks him why he’s getting angry and Jax says, “I’m not angry, but to do that to like, my family.”

Jax asks Katie why she doesn’t talk to Brittany about the rumored infidelities and she says it’s because she doesn’t like him. He tells her that he doesn’t like her either. The whole argument is super-fullous.

Schwartzy pulls Ariana Madix aside and she already knows that it’s about Tom Sandoval asking him to move in.

It’s clearly a bad financial move but Schwartz just wants to know if Ariana would hate him if he moved in. Surprisingly, she tells him she won’t. “I thought you were going to strike down upon me with great vengeance,” Schwartz tells her.

Scheana Shay wants to go home but Brock Davies wants to party

Tom Sandoval comes in and things get tense but it’s when Scheana and Brock start arguing that the “Vanderpump Rules” cast is like WTF.

Scheana wants to go home to put Summer Moon to bed. “Or, she has the babysitter and we can have some fun times together,” Brock argues.

“We’ve had fun today, honey,” Scheana says. She then aggressively asks him if he would like some pizza.

In the background, Brock is yelling, “That’s not my problem. My problem is you don’t let the nanny put our kid down when she’s perfectly capable of doing it.”

“It’s not that, it’s that I want to read her the Halloween books. I want to have those moments with her, so if I could get home by 9:00 to put my kid down, I would like to,” Scheana tells him. Brock just wants to chill in the pool.

Tom Sandoval throws low blows

All of a sudden, Scheana is okay and talks to Kyle about singing her new song at his event. Sandoval is unhappy about her song being about him and Rachel Leviss. She explains that she wasn’t just hurt over the affair but also their friendship and restraining order.

“It was almost like you were a hundred times more reactive than like, Ariana was,” Sandoval tells Scheana. She answers, “Do you know why I was? That’s because all you had to do at the reunion … was keep your mouth shut.” Flashback to Sandoval claiming Scheana punched Rachel after learning about the affair.

Sandoval accuses Scheana of acting like the “biggest victim.” Brock comes over because there’s a lot of yelling.

Scheana tells Sandoval that she now worries about Brock and Lala because of how he cheated with Ariana’s best friend. “Why is that my fault?” Sandoval asks. “Dude, you’ve been the other woman in a f*cking relationship.” Everyone is like, oh hells to the no.

Scheana and Brock tell him that she was in her 20s when that happened, while he’s in his 40s. Sandoval remains unapologetic and did not do himself any favors by saying that.
